DIFF offers free tickets to weekday screenings during the Festival before 4 p.m. to the following groups:

  • Students
  • Teachers
  • Active Military
  • Veterans
  • Seniors 63 and older

Students and seniors also receive discounts on Festival Passes. Must present a valid ID with proof of eligibility at the Festival’s Prekindle Main Box Office in Mockingbird Station.


The new DART to DIFF partnership is making it even easier  for 2015 Dallas International Film Festival-goers to travel  quickly and safely from the 2015 DIFF hub in Mockingbird  Station to festival events around the city.

Plus you’ll receive $2 off any regular screening when you  bring your DART ticket to the Prekindle Main Box Office in  Mockingbird Station.

While visiting Mockingbird Station, be sure to spend some time exploring in between watching films and visit some of the wonderful retailers and restaurants offering great DIFF discounts April 9-19!

L.M. Kit Carson (Posthumously)
Lone Star State legend and influential writer, actor and producer Carson first gained recognition as creator of the mockumentary, DAVID HOLZMAN’s DIARY (1968), and co-wrote PARIS, TEXAS (1984).

Blythe Danner
Danner is well regarded for her roles in films such as MEET THE PARENTS and THE GREAT SANTINI. The Emmy-winning and Golden Globe-nominated actress is alos know for her work on television shows such as Will & Grace and Huff.

John Landis
A director for more than 40 years, Landis' films include NATIONAL LAMPOON’S ANIMAL HOUSE (1980), THE BLUES BROTHERS (1978) and AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON (1981).
